Sup Bloggers, on Wednesday the author Des Hunt visited us and showed us how he writes his books. He also told us how he got his inspiration to start writing books. His first book was called "The Last Tuatara." He actually was a teacher before being an author. He gave the book to everyone in his class and told them to read it. Unfortunately only 4 people made it through the whole book. He then started to look at where he messed up; he then made some conflict and some fighting/arguing with the main character. After a while at the end everything changes. He got rejected by the publishers the first time but now they had said no again to The Last Tuatara. He then made a whole another book named "A Friend In Paradise." The Last Tuatara was then published in 2013. Here are some pictures:

Hi ben it's Mikael from yaldhurst school. It must've been really exciting to have an awrther com to your school. I think I was cool that he gave everyone a book. I hop you were one of the people who finished it. next time I think you should make the font easier to read.
