We had a go at making an Anti-Flood House. We read lots of articles about how to make your house flood proof. I made mine flood proof by adding pillars at the bottom for elevation. I also added walls to stop the water getting in. If it does get in, my elevation will raise my house and it will not hit the water. Here are some photos of the house:

Hi Ben, Noah here from Waitemata. I liked your house it looks really cool. I like the elevated idea. And you are right, that activity was really fun. Next time maybe you could tell us a little more about the house, why we did it and about the book that we read. It made me think of some of the things I could do to my house.
