Bus Stop - Inquiry

In Inquiry we went around about 10 stops writing our ideas and our ideas from the internet on 10 different pieces of paper. We then got the one we started on and made anything to present it. Here is our group presenting it... 🙁😕😐

Australia Trip

This is my learning of a different kind:
Last week we flew to Australia and had an amazing time! Although half of the trip it was raining, we still went to 3 theme parks! We first went to Sydney to check out the Sydney Opera House:

Then we flew to the Gold Coast because that's where the theme parks are. We went to Sea World, Wet 'n' Wild Waterpark and Whitewater World/Dreamworld. Most of them were waterparks because I love rides that involve water. Also there was this amazing place called Max Brenner's Chocolate Bar, it had the best chocolate fondue ever! I nearly had it every day! We stayed in an apartment building and under us was a shopping mall and a pool! It was amazing. The thing I am still scared of are spiders and bugs in Australia. It was an amazing trip! I was really depressed when we had to get home 👎. Please leave a comment! Blog Ya Later!!!

Shark Infographic

A few days ago we started making an info graphic about sea animals. We added interesting facts about the animal, and mine was about a shark. We had to go on google and find out facts about sharks. We searched multiple websites to find our information then we put it all in one info graphic. Here, have a look!

This work was fun and challenging. I found out lots of things, like vending machines kill more people than sharks do! It's crazy! Anyways, Thanks for checking out my blog and please leave a comment! 😀👍

Monday Fun Day / Wheels Day

Hey guys, on Monday it was Wheels Day. We all brought our bikes, scooters, skateboards, rip sticks and even Pogo sticks! It was an awesome day! We also got to go on the slip n slide. We didn't go as fast as last time though. At the gala we incredibly fast because they put more soap on. We also had a change over so we were waiting and watching for our turn to get in the pool. Here are some pictures.

It was incredibly fun and most people brought their wheels and played for the rest of the day. I think we should have more of these kind of days.

Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Bonjour Bloggers! In reading we read about the Treaty of Waitangi and we also did a piece of work on the Treaty of Waitangi. Here have a look! Here is a picture of the book that we read. 😀

If you didn't know the Treaty of Waitangi is a treaty made by the British and signed by the Maori, But there were a few mistakes while translating it to Maori which caused confusion between them. I think this is important to read about because this is part of NZ history.

I also learnt that a hui is a meeting or assembly in Maori.
